aggressive male.

I have a fairly new male. I have held gim a few times and he nevee moves or tries to run. Yesrerday i fed him and waited abouted 30hrs to get him out. Went to get him out andhe hissed. What can i do to break this if anything. i dont want him aggressive when he gets bigger.

If he's a baby, he'll calm down with age. There's really not much you can do, other than handle him on a regular basis...and keep him fed. :D

I have adults that still hiss when I take them out, but they don't strike. Babies can be a little nippy though...

Feed him in his own enclosure...

Then leave him alone to digest.

he ate almost a day and half ago. Was not like a fed him 10 mins ago.

love an handling I have an angry snake that hate steh world but he is slowly calming down after daily handling. Just not after eating! My spider lady hisses at me every so often, just need to let me know shes in charge...

Ahhh I misread what you posted, I thought you fed him, then went to pick him up 30 minutes later lol.

Hissing is normal, I get hissed at all the time, I don't really see it as aggression, it's more for show...to show how "tough" they are :rolleyes:. I wouldn't worry about it :)

Could be a sign of stress, how long ago did you get him?
How much have you handled him since he came home?
Is he located in a high traffic area in your home?
Double check your husbandry with the care sheet.
