Made the switch to tubs

I finally gave up and made the switch to tubs. I thought I had it figured out with tanks but I just couldn't keep up humidity in the colder weather. After only 2 days I could t be happier, I've only misted once and my temps are perfect. I had to build a stand for a clamp lamp to keep the temp up but I couldnt be happier!

Congrats on making the switch! I just bought two tubs for mine and have all the holes drilled. Just waiting on the heat tape, hides, rheostat, and thermostat to come in the mail :)

I am in the process of switching as well, just waiting for some stuff in the mail. What bedding are you using?

I'm actually using rept-bark. I got some cocoa husk stuff at my local pet store but it was EXTREMELY dusty. Enough to coat my mouth with dust when I put it in. So I used some left over repti-bark and I actually like it.

I only switched so I could keep more snakes:rofl::rofl:
With 3 it was easy, then 5 was a little more time consuming but I could keep temp and humidity.
I just couldnt imagine 25 tanks all over my house......................
Though I think the wife is trying with all her frogs and toads:O

Good choice! I wouldn't go back to tanks if someone paid me! :)
