    Normal Behavior
I've been watching my BP's behavior closely (as close as I can) and taking notes on patterns I see to better understand what he/she likes to do and doesn't like. It suddenly dawned on me that I have nothing to compare it to.

What is a normal BP's behavior? I do take into account that all snakes behave differently depending on a multitude of factors, however, in general what should I be seeing?

My BP loves moving from cool hide to warm hide every few hours with a daily exploration around the late evening and early morning. I know they like to hide so I assume this is normal.

    Thoughts?

    Hide-85% of the time
    Out resting-only during "dark" hours
    Roaming-usually hungry or stressed behavior

    That's all lol

Mine are pretty much in the hide non stop over the heat. They do come out and roam around a bit at night, or when I'm in the snake/rat room messing around. I have never fed them at the same time or same day so if they see me they prepare themselves for a possible feeding, lol.

Well, then I suppose my little one is doing just fine. I used to think that a potential 4-5 foot snake would need larger quarters than what people give them. Now that I see their behavior, I realize they seem content in tiny hides. Fine by me. Lol. Thanks for the feedback.
