    red scales?
my female shedded a week ago today i noticed when she shed that about 5 scales are a slightly red color i assumed it was irritation or something. they still haven't gone away. besides being red they look completely normal she was also at the vet the day she was shedding due to an issue i thought i was having but i just hadn't recognized a shed. are the scales anything i should be worrying about i can post pictures if needed just can't find a camera right now

Are you sure they aren't just the color of those scales? They don't really look red like mite bites and don't look like scale rot to me...

I guess I'd keep an eye on it, if it spreads or gets worse then I'd see the vet about it. But to me, it just looks like a darker yellow or orange colored scale compared to the others...

alright the scales were white before she shed that was why i was so confused she hasn't eaten in a little over a month but besides that i've had no issues since i got her i've just been a little bit worried thank you for easing my worry.
