heating a bp tub

i want to switch to using a tubs but understand they are harder to heat all around. could i use two uth and two thermostats to keep one side around 80 and the other around 90?

That's how I do it.

There are several ways..........................
heat the room to 80 and heat pads on the hot side.
two heat sources and two thermostats.
or a rack with hot side heat............. if its a close sided rack you might get lucky enought to have your cool side about right.:gj:

Yes they are. The dual set up 2 uths and 2 t-stats works very well with tubs it adds to the cost the other issue with a dual system is if you are using a dual probe t-stat and it fails there is absolutely NO escape for the snake so I would really suggest a failsafe t-stat as well.

ya thats true. i wouldnt be using a dual probe but two completely separate t-stats. i have an extra one which i can use
