No money or no snakes!

Why is it that I can always find several morphs that I want when I have no money then when I want to spend a bit there is nothing I like!!!! GGRRRRRRRRR. Just ranting here. I guess it is because in the winter I have a little extra and people stop posting/selling/shipping in the winter. I am ready for some steals but can not find anything I like. Anyone else in my boat.

I never have money so I'm kinda in your boat! LOL.

LOL ya pretty much. Ever since we got the house its been one thing after another and I haven't been able to get anything recently. But the one piece of advice I will give u is to wait for the one that blows u away instead of settling for an average representation of a morph just because u have the money then

I agree!! I have settled on a few high end moprhs that I really want and I am going to breed them from the basic morphs so that I don't have to pay an arm and a leg for them lol.

If you like the look of a specific morph than you should deffinately hold out for the best representation you can find.

I prefer to start with base morphs with the qualities that I like and breed my own combos. It will take longer but less cost up front and ill have more pride in my animals too. Also I can spread out the gene pool

Just base morphs but I am being very picky I suppose. For example, I was looking for a male black pastel het ghost but I want him to be at least 50% black back and have tons of squiggle. I can not even find that without the het. I did find one (not het though) but it looked kind of light and I like um dark. I really wanted this one but I could not get over the light look to him. Also, I want my snakes started on rat pups or at least converted since I can not get live mouse hoppers. Just one example of my pickyness. Now I saw a lot of things I liked in the summer but I also had my funds going in a different direction.
