    road trip
I am moving and will be on a 13 hour drive with my bp driving through some wintery areas.... can anyone suggest the best way for him to travel?

I have a smaller tupper with holes and am just wondering if he needs water in there or if it will soak him, and if car temperature is ok or if he will need a heater...

    thanks !

I would personally pick up or borrow a 12V power converter. What it does is converts your car's cigarette lighter (12V power source) into an AC plug (120V power source). You can get them in a range of sizes from just about anywhere that sells automotive parts/supplies. A small one would do just fine. I would then put him in a tub with at least a regular heat pad under one side, or just use your UTH and thermostat. Keep a close eye on temps of course though, just in case. I wouldn't bother with water during the trip. If you are driving straight through, he will be fine.

They come in handy for other things as well. I used one to take my spider to the vet 2 weeks ago when it was in the mid 30's outside and raining/sleeting mix. I had a 'regular' heat pad that I wrapped in a towel so that it didn't get too hot and placed it under the tub I was carrying him in. That way he still had a gradient if he so choose it.

Here is mine. It's only a 150W that I picked up for less than $30.
