    Minor rodent bite question
    So my favorite snake who only accepts live got bit by a rat today no blood was drawn but the scale is a little red should I be concerned anything I should do for her???

    I dont feed live personally but from what I've heard, if it isnt a serious bite it will clear up by your snakes next shed. Post a picture up if you are really concerned.

    I'd just clean it and make sure it stays clean and keep an eye on it but it sounds like the skin is not broken and if that is the case there is nothing to worry about.

    She'll be fine. Most of my snakes eat p/k but out of 51 I still have 15 that eat live. I try to keep an eye on those, as soon as there is a strike, I look in to make sure the head is under control. If its not I stick the end of my tongs in the rats mouth to prevent it from biting the snake. But I never leave the snake room for more than a couple minutes when live rats are in with snakes. If 20 minutes go by without feeding the rat comes out.
