    Better then a gaurd dog!
Ever since I moved into my apartment building awhile back, I have had to file numerous complaints about things being missing. Since there was no damage to my door or any of the windows - I came to the conclusion that it had to be the maintenance people. My apartment tends to higher some rather shady looking third party people and I notice the stuff tends to be missing after they've come to fix or check things.

Anywho, about a week after I got Kaa, I got home from work several hours early. When I went up stairs I noticed my door was open (I was told people would come to fix my air condition). Right as I entered the apartment, I saw the maintenance man freak out and RUN out of my room into the living room...

It was like he saw a ghost lol. Apparently, he's terrified of little ol' Kaa... even though Kaa is in a pad locked tank.

Ever since, I have had no missing objects. Lol.

Makes me want a giant fully grown Retic loose in my house for when I am not home (just imagine the face of a robber expecting to make an easy steal lol). We've had 7 armed robberies in 6 weeks here. :(

    Police are EVERYWHERE.

Nobody should be going in to fix anything without u or somebody u approve being there. I lived in el paso for four years and that's what I told the managers of my apartment. Good luck, I hope they stop taking ur stuff

That really sucks, they should respect your privacy and only work when your home. You shouldn't have to worry about someone that works where you live taking your stuff, bet they wouldn't try that crap with my 125 pound pit around! If I were you I'd be changing my locks, since they don't wanna listen to your requests!!

Good grief, what part of Texas are in you? First the mugger and now this.... I've been in Texas all my life and haven't had this kind of issues! If you catch them in your room again snap a pic with your phone and file a police report! Good luck

Put a lock on your bedroom door. Shouldn't be too hard to install one and you have the only key. At least you can put valuables in there and not worry.
