im afraid mt versi hasent ate
not too long ago, i got a few new slings,, an a. versi, a OBT, and a malasian blue.
the blue is eating,, the OBT is charging out of the web, grabing the dubia and disapearing with it,, but the versi,, im not so sure. it stays on top of the corkbark all the time, it has made no webs, and as far as i can tell, hasent ate.
ill usually take a small/ baby dubia, kinda crush/ immobylise a part of it, and put it on its back to make easy prey. its been 4 hours or so (dubias legs still kicking) and the versi is just standing beside it.. this is how iv fed it in the past, and found dead dubias on the fauna,, but i dont know if the versi's eating or not..
    any tips??
    thanks

Most of mine won't eat before a molt. Do you know when it's last molt was? It could also be it is picky about it's food. Maybe try crickets with that one.

im not sure when the last time that it molted. it has never molted for me, but iv only had them for 3 or 4 weeks. i checked it this morning, and the dubia has regained mobility and is walking around. i offered a tiny tiny mealworm before i left for work this morning so ill check on it @ lunch... i hate crickets and was hoping to get away from them, but i might need to try.
    thanks for the reply

You can always try a cricket too. I've heard more times than not if they don't eat it's because they are pre-molt. I have a red knee that hasn't eaten in close to 4 weeks because of pre-molt....

LOL i was told more than once that the OBT and the MBF were fast movers,,, but i wasent expecting that fast eigther:O. oh also, it seems that the versi is a little darker than before. is this a sign of pre molt? or just the lighting in my room???
