Halo Anniversary Rant

Before I go off, I'd like to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed the remastering of Halo CE. The new graphics, the skulls, achievements and easter eggs are all great and fun.

However, I have discovered something that just boils me:

Guests can't play campaign!

WTF? So every Halo game every allowed guests. Even the multiplayer for this very game allows guests. So why can't they play campaign with me?

It doesn't make any sense!

My friends that come over and want to play campaign and don't have their own XBL account have to just swap with me on solo.

This is a big old load of bovine excrement! And it lights my fire!

That is bull! I can't fathom why that would be. Playing as a guest was how I realized that I liked Halo. :(

Well, I have godo news now but still mad a little.

So it turns out you can play with a guest but to do so you have to change the network settings from Xbox Live to Local Network. Not exactly what I'd call intuitive don't ya think? At least next time my friends come over we can play with each other.

Took me awhile to figure that out, too. I love Anniversary, but Reach absolutely sucks. Seems like I only like every other multiplayer - loved H1 and H3, but can't stand H2 or Reach multiplayer. As far as I'm concerned, H3 had the perfect multiplayer.

The terminals were super nerdtastic.

I loved playing back through the campaign again. I hope they don't remake 2. Let CE have it's special remake and leave it at that.

Did you get the secret 11th terminal? I jsut got it yesterday. It's also netted me 100000 credits in Reach.
