    First shed - help
    I purchased a Pewter male last week that having a terrible time shedding. He has plenty of humidity - a "SMALL" water bowl to soak. What can I do to help him???

    Soak him your self. Get a tub or something with a lid. Put him in a the tub/bin what ever with warm water and shut the lid. Make sure it's not an air tight lid thou. Give him a 15-20 minute bath and then take him out and remove his shed with a warm damp wash cloth. Hope this helps.

    Yep. Let him soak for 15 or 20 then wet down a towel or two really well with warm water, take him out and let him begin to crawl through your hands wich are holding the wet towels (obviously), he will eventually get the idea you're trying to help and he will cooperate. Its MUCH MUCH easier btw to get the skin off from Head to Tail. The other way sucks. You'll get it no time! We promise!
