Re: Questions for BRB owners
BRBs are secretive animals but I heard if you you a radiant heat panel, then you will see them out more often. I'm not sure on that, it's just what I've heard. Some BRBs darken, some get brighter, and some stay the same. It's hard to tell by looking at the babies, so I recommend looking at the parents.

Re: Questions for BRB owners
They are more display animals as adults if you give them a radiant heat panel and a lot of climbing space.
Generally, though, they're hiders.
Amazon Tree Boas, Green Tree Pythons, even some aboreal colubrids like spilotes make much better display snakes. Even carpet pythons can be nice display snakes if done right.
Really, any fully aboreal species is your best bet for a display.
Re: Questions for BRB owners
Thanks for the info guys, that pretty much answers my question I think! As I said, this was mostly for curiosity's sake, I'm not looking specifically for a display animal. BRBs are too beautiful to pass up for that reason alone imo.
And Carlisle, thank you for the photos. If anyone else has any of their own, I still welcome them to share :)
