My brand new Butter Ball!

Hi everyone,

Well, I ended up buying that Butter I've been pining over for the past two weeks. Ended up getting a pretty good deal on her, too! Without further ado, here she is:

Sorry for the camera phone. I tried to get better close-ups, but she's so active it was all just a blur!

The pet shop staff didn't know how old she was, and I was hoping maybe someone here could help me out with it. I've pictured her next to about 12 inches of measuring tape for size. All I know is that the store got her on Nov. 25, and I bought her today. And that she hasn't eaten in that time period.

I think (for now) that "she" is a female, but I am by no means an expert at popping, and will only try that again in about 10 days after she's settled in.

I'm very excited about her, since this is my very first ball python! It's going to be difficult to leave her alone for a whole week... but I definitely want her to de-stress for a bit.

There's really no way to tell. Judging from her size...probably hatched August/September maybe?
