    Will she be okay?
I recently purchased a pewter female from BHB and I asked them to have her held for pickup when they ship her. The night time lows for me are 15-20 degrees, will she be okay since I'm picking her up at a FedEx location? I told Lori what the lows were here, but I'm still really worried about her.

Only thing I could see an issue is if the bp is'nt packaged with the proper heating. But as long as shipping goes from door to plane, plane to proessing plant, plant to pick up site. you should be fine because all areas are climate controled. Good luck, dont stress (to bad) i'm sure the breeder knows what they are doing. And keep us posted.. Pics asap...lol:gj:

    Thanks! :)

This is the first time I'm picking up at a hub and I'm just worried something is going to go wrong. She's not being shipped until tomorrow, but there will definitely be a thread with pictures as soon as I get her. :D

Brian and Lori do a great job packing their animals. I have witnessed there packaging more than once. I have also known them to delay a shipment if they feel that the conditions aren't right to ship.... You pewter should be just fine.....:gj:

I don't doubt that they will package her well, I've just never had a snake shipped to me when it was this cold out. My biggest fear is receiving an animal only to realize it's dead.

I really do understand your fear there. I worry about every delivery that I receive no matter how the weather is. Cold just makes me worry more. You may just want to give BHB a call and double check with them if they feel it is safe to ship it. I'm sure that they would be happy to answer your question....

BTW, I received a shipment last week from Jerry Robertson from all the way across the country. The temps hit the 20's overnight, and they made it without a problem. They were still in the low 70's when they got here....

I'll find out when you do because I have a boa going to the same location tomorrow as well!
