    I have a extra rat pup my male did not eat because he is in shed? My female downed hers how long should i wait to give her his? A hour or more or less?

    You can offer it to her as soon as she is done with the first one. They usually yawn or realign their jaws and then they are ready for another one.

    After she finishes the first one, just give her the second. No need to wait too long.

    I give left overs/extras as soon as they've finished with the one they take first. Some times I'll just drop it in as they are constricting the first and they will eat it.
