I personally like both, but tend to prefer normals a bit more. I love those deep earthy tones

normals all the way, you cant beat the colors on them, but if i were to buy just one, it'd be a hypo

Depends on what you like I guess. I've never been fond of yellow and orange colors on anything so I'm really not fond of most albinos for any animal. However, I do have two albino burms. One's colors just seem to pop. Her colors are very bold. The others coloration appears washed out, but her sweet personality and disposition is what makes her stand out. Sometimes, I don't think she realizes what kind of animal she is lol

Why do I have albino's if I'm typically not fond of them? Because the breeder I was buying from was out of normals and he let me have the albinos for a little more than his normals. Probably helped that I bought several animals from him at once (not just the two burms). I probably could have waited but I really wanted some of his animals and I couldn't pass up the deal! lol

But to answer your question, I originally wanted normals, so I choose normal.

Hypos and T+'s are my faves for burms.

    what she said.

but these are only opinions. it ultimately comes down to what you prefer. also make sure you're set up to keep a leviathan. burms and retics have distinct but great personalities from what I have gathered, but they're not easy pets. I won't assume anything since you're new to the site, but make sure you've done your due diligence. beyond the care sheets available here, the giant python forum is a good place for browsing. give a hard look at a few of denial's postings. he has some good advice for new keepers of large snakes.

edit: I only wrote the above since it looked like you're considering acquiring a burm. if this is simply an opinion poll regarding aesthetics, please disregard.

    I prefer granites over both.

The normals definitely have some amazing colors to them but, albinos berms imo are one of the greatest snakes for using in photo shoots. Just my opinion, i suppose not everyone will be thinking about the photo shoots but yea =]

if you were to expand the morphs you were looking for outside of norms and albino id say go with a hypo instead

as a photographer I would love a albino. My models seem to like shooting with them more. Only one now is about 40 miles from me and a friend owns it. Hard to get to for shoots.
