    Someone help please (feeding problem)
So last month I got an adult het albino female ball python and she was supposed to be a great feeder. Once I got the snake, I waited after a week till I fed her, but she didn't eat. I tried again and she didn't eat. She was in shed so I didn't feed her. Yesterday she was done shedding and I tried feeding her again, but she STILL didn't eat. What should I do? She was 1948g in the beginning, but now after a month she weighs 1864g. I got her Nov. 9 or 10 of 2011

I feed f/t or thats what the previous breeder fed her and she was not a problem feeder. Matter a fact she is supposed to be a great feeder.

    Hi,

Might be worthy double checking with the previous owner how they prepared/ offered the food?

double check your husbandry and leave her alone as much as you can. Have you had a fecal done? That is a fair bit of weight in that short a time period. It is breeding season and it is possible that she is just off food too.

80g ish as said is a fair weight loss, has she defacated at all, since you got her home, as this may account for a good deal of the weight loss, if not then I'd be looking at getting a fecal screening done.
