    Red Tail Boa
I am very happy to be getting my first morph ball python, my pastel het albino that is coming in the mail Tuesday morning. But at the same time, now I regret not getting a boa. I want one so bad. I already have a red tail boa tank partially set up, because I was going to get one before I got my first ball python. All I lack is the heating pad and the heat lamp for ambient temps. With the money I spent on my pastel I could have gotten a nice juvenile red tail boa and finished my set up. I've heard that boas are normally more intelligent, active and curious than ball pythons. First thing on my checklist after I get a car is to get a boa :D

I love my BPs, but boas are just straight up amazing.

I do think BPs are a great starter snake though and they are what I keep the most of, but as of late my boa collection has been growing too. :P

I'm just hoping my mother doesn't kill be with she finds out I have another ball python AND a boa. I might have gotten away with it if I had just gotten a boa. I could have said, well I sold Ivan so I could get a boa and I still have two snakes. Oh well, I don't really care any more I figure they'll just deal if I already have them, that's what she did when I got another BP lol

If you are going to keep snakes without your parents' consent please be careful. There have been numerous people who have tried to hide snakes from their parents and in the end they had to re-home them.

I'll talk her into it before I get into that. I'll tell her, I just want a boa and then i'm done until i'm out of your house. I done told Dave, the major one who's against more snakes that once I get a good job and start making money i'm gonna get more ball pythons and start breeding them and he said okay but I get a cut of the money you make because it's my house. I think as long as I get one or two boas and stick to mostly balls i'll be alright. What do I tell someone who thinks a boa would escape and strangle something/somebody? The tank I have is custom built and escape proof. The only openings are two trap doors (think i'm gonna make another cut and make it one) with two barrel locks. The only way of escape is if I forget to lock it which won't happen because i'm OCD.
