Hog Nose / Ball Pythons

Are Hog nose snakes easier to take care of than ball pythons. I am traveling a lot lately and I feel like my balls need more attention than I am currently able to give them. I do not want to get completely out of the reptile game. Would hog nose snakes be a good transition?

I don't see what is different about the above for keeping ball pythons vs hoggies.. except that hoggies don't have bad sheds with low humidity. I wouldn't say either species needs much attention at all, and if you don't have time for ball pythons, you probably don't have time for any pet except a potted plant.

I agree. The care requirements between the two aren't very different and they are both easy to care for. So if BPs are too much, then most pets probably aren't in the cards right now.
