    Large fake shrubbery?
I've been looking EVERYWHERE for some fake plants/etc. to put in my boa's tank, since it's 6x2x3 those little fake plants they sell at pet stores are woefully tiny to a 6ft. snake, lol. We tried a crafts store like Micheal's, but for something big enough there it would cost us around $15 which is ridiculous!

Anyone know of a good, cheaper place to get large, cheap plastic plants/shrubbery? Satin's tank looks so bare with just her climbing tree. :(

Honestly when you look at the pet stores $8-$12 for their little plants $15 for a big one isn't that bad.

Dollar store!! Seriously, they usually have fake greenery that you can stick into the foam forms for plant/flower arrangements for only $1 a piece. Select what you like and cut off the excess "stem" (might have to use a hacksaw or heavy-duty wire cutters). Make sure to trim any exposed wires or loose parts. Then stick them in a mound of epoxy putty. Paint that with child-safe brown paint and you have instant plants for a couple bucks! You can even texturize the base by rolling it in some eco-earth while the paint is still wet. Here's an example of a beautiful cage. I will be doing this for my GTP in the spring.... :gj:
