Bumble Bee Clutch
We cut our last clutch of the year today. Graziani line pastel male, to a big female spider. 8 eggs, I cant be certain yet, but it appears that I have 4 spiders and 4 bees. I know that all the babies inherited the spider gene, but not all were cooperating to know if they were pastels or not.... I have pics from cutting eggs, but want to wait untill they are out to post pics of the babies

Re: Bumble Bee Clutch
I will keep up with it, post pics as soon as they come out, I like the egg tub pics with them all balled together. May seem weird but they are always so cute cuddled together and you can always see the color contrast that way:gj:

I was just thinking the same thing. Was an interesting topic on this in the WoBP forums a few weeks back.
Really got the brain a thinking about ways to remove the odds in single and double gene animals while increasing the odds of your multi-gene animals.
Can't wait for the pics !! Congrats on the 'odds' though =)

I am not going to say that she isnt, but I feel it is a better chance that it was just a coincidence. I dont know what her parents were either. I did have a female black pastel go 6 fer 7 on passing genes on, so it could just be dumb luck (if I have luck it is dumb) I will be breeding the same female to a butter as long as he decides to breed this year, if she goes 100% 2 years in a row I will start wondering.

Re: Bumble Bee Clutch
Ok... so all the babies have finally come out of there eggs, and the female spider is definitely not a super I only cut a small hole when I cut eggs and honestly thought they were spiders all spiders. there are still no normals in the clutch. I ended up with
2.1 Spiders
0.2 Pastels
1.2 Bee's
