    Pics of Gambit! What morph?
After two weeks or so of him settling in I decided it was about time to get some new pics of him :) He's doing fantastic so far and the best crestie a first-time crestie owner could ask for. Question: what morph would you say he is? A brindle dalmation something? I'd love input!

And he was just too cute that I couldn't resist taking a picture with him (avatar) :P

He looks great! Wish i could help with the morph thing but I can't even figure out what my own crestie is (crestie morphs are beyond me). Good luck with him though :)

btw i love the yellow/green along his legs and eyes.

I'm stumped with this guy! He looks like a grey/olive flame, but he has those brindle/tiger sides. He has dalmatian spots but not enough to be considered a dalmatian, he also has some fringing on his hind legs.

Here is a great link to morphs, sorry if I've already given it to you. I share it a lot because it helped me so much.

Have you seen him fire up? If you catch him doing so take some shots.

That's the same link I went to right before I posted this to see if I could figure him out myself :gj: I love Pangea: so much good info on cresties.

Haven't gotten him/seen him fired up yet so when I catch him I'll take pics. I've tried seeing any color changes when I mist him but he looks like the same color.

Some crested geckos rarely fire up. There's a thread on Pangea for tricks to make them fire up. It might be worth a shot.

^ He may be one of those, I'll just have to see. I've tried the misting and he hasen't fired yet from just handling so it might be a wait game. Hopefully I can catch him sometime though :)

Here's that link I was talking about: http://www.pangeareptile.com/forums/...ad.php?t=57847

I guess the tips aren't that much different than misting but maybe some of the variations like a sauna will work for you. Just from looking at him I think his sides will fire up really dark.

I vote olive brindle, but cresties can be tricky ;) He's very handsome whatever he is, congrats! They are the best lizards out there imho :D

Olive brindle sounds pretty spot on: I'll probably post pics of him on Pangea for more opinions eventually.

But here's a newer pic from thw 8th: looking handsome and quite plump after eating some freshly made CGD :) (that blue swiggle fuzzy lint thing in the background is on the outside of the tank under the black construction paper I put around his tank for security).

Awesome shot, he looks like he is trying to put on the charm by saying "I'd wink at you if I could." I'm glad to see you are enjoying him, I knew you would.
