    Flees?
I'm going to be visiting my mom in a little over 3 weeks and I'm taking my dog and my cat with me because I'm going to be there for a little over a week. Sadly it's cheaper to drive with my dog and my cat from WI to NH than to fly and board my pets for the time I am gone.

My mom told me last night that her cats have flees. My pets will have frontline on them before I leave, but is there anything more I can do to protect them and me? I really don't want them coming back with me.

I looove Comfortis for dogs. It's a little expensive, but it works great. It kills the fleas when they bite the dog, and stays in the system for a month, Just make sure you give it with food to avoid vomiting, and don't use it if your dog has a history of seizures. For the cat, I would just grab a capstar and give it to your kitty the day you plan on leaving. :) It doesn't stay in the bloodstream as long as Comfortis, but they don't have a Comfortis for cats yet, so...yeah. XD Good enough for short-term use, though.
