How long does it typically take from "pink belly" to complete shed for a full grown bp?

    I'd say 3-4 days..

I don't think the pinky belly is a good tracking point to estimate a shed. I have some that start to get pink bellies up to a week before they even go blue. The time between when they clear up and when they actually shed is about 2-4 days for most of my adults.

    It goes like this:

The belly turns pink, then the eyes go cloudy, then the eyes will clear up (make sure you humidity is bumped up to 70% at this point) and then the grand finale - he will shed his skin.

The whole process can take about 7 days to complete.

I have about the same experience as mentioned above. Belly will start to turn pink sometimes up to a week before eyes really cloud over. Once the eyes clear back up, mine usually shed within 72 hours.

This is generally an average for me of course. Each stage does vary from time to time.

Still no shed! Here's the timeline so far:

    Last Monday: Fed 250g rat
Last Weds: Handled out of cage, noticed pink belly
    Last Friday: Eyes blue
Last night, Tues: Eyes still blue
This morning, Weds: head buried, couldn't see eyes

Getting impatient, LOL! Humidity hasn't dropped below 85%, as is typical in my town.

Still no poop either. She tends to poop a couple days after feeding. She has been very lethargic for this past week as well. Weird or normal?

I wouldn't worry. You're going to have a nice mess to clean up in a few days. My large girls seem to take longer to shed then my little ones. They also don't stick to a strict schedule when it comes to shedding. :)

Agreed... Sounds like you are a few days away at most. A lot of my balls wait until they shed to poop. Makes for one stinky nasty mess. :O

    x2

I will often get one poop in between sheds, but not always..

They also tend to get very inactive during the 'blue' phase for me as well.. I wouldn't worry. Soon she will be back to normal =)

Yay! She shed last night! I checked her out after dinner and she was about 1/3 of the way through her shed. The remaining 2/3 took her less than an hour to get off.

She had a retained left eye cap from her last shed. This time around, the whole left side of her head didn't come off with the main shed. I was concerned, but I left her alone over night, and when I woke up this morning the piece of skin from her head was on top of her hide, with the eye cap on it! Yes! She was in her hide so I cannot confirm if her left eye looks better now.

Since her left eye cap was retained last time, and this time it took her some extra effort to get that left side of her head shed, I am wondering if she has something going on over on that side of her head. The rest of the skin came off in pretty much one piece. Any thoughts?

At the end of the process last night she made a huge pee/white poop, and then this morning I found a brown poop as well.
