    Found a scale
Today, on my way to Hastings after getting dropped off at the mall (I had a couple hours before I had to work) I found a small scale on the side of a two lane road laying in the grass. I was very wet from raining recently and I thought that it didn't work, but after it dried off I found it does work. It's a ZX-600 with a 600 gram max in 0.1 gram increments. Seeing as this is Tennessee and it was just laying on the side of the road in the grass I would assume that it was being used to weigh drugs and that someone was being pulled over and they threw it out the window. I may be wrong but that is my first guess and I am probably right. I already have an Oneida 5000 gram kitchen scale so i'll end up selling it to someone who will use it to weigh snakes or food and not drugs.

If you really think it was used for drugs, I would toss it. No need to bring traces of that into your home. Just my $0.02

It was soaking wet when I found it, so I think it's clean :)

No need to trash something perfectly usable just because drugs have touched it.

Good grief, if we did that we'd have to burn just about all of our paper money.

I would check its accuracy though. If it was tossed out a window like you think there's no telling how off it could be. The water damage alone could create error.

I won't be using it as I have an Oneida but I will check the accuracy before I sell it.
