    Feeding Issue
Hello all, I have an adult male pastel that is almost 7 years old and he has gone off food for almost 6 months now. He normally only eats live, but he will just defensive strike at them, but will not wrap and kill. I have offered a live rat to him once a week with no luck. Good thing my female will eat three mediums or i would be out some money. i have been watching to see if maybe he some respiratory issue goin on, but no bubbles or excessive yawning. The person i got him from suggested that i move him from the 55 gallon tank i had him in to a sweater tub, which i did about 6 months ago, but he still will not eat. At what point do i get seriously concerned and take him to a vet. He doesn't seem to have lost any weight, but he has gotten pretty pissy and doesn't like to be handled. He didn't shed good the last time as well and still has a hue to his eyes. Please help.

what is his temp and humity? what medium do you have him on. If newspaper try aspen, if aspen try news paper. Does he have a hide? Have you tried a mouse instead of a rat? Try covering up the sides of the tub with paper to block out the light. Sounds like he might have retained eye caps. Did you get a weight on him when you got him as compared to know?
