    This chart has been around for a long time but I thought I would repost to help the new members out!

    Hope it helps out with knowing what sizes are available so you can select the appropriate size for your Ball Python!

    I have had those saved on my computer for a couple years! I couldn't tell you where they came from! I had them sent to me!

    I just add that there is some variation between suppliers, it isn't an exactly the same everwhere. It is a good idea to check the weights from YOUR supplier I have noticed quite large differences between two suppliers in my area. One is under the posted chart one over.


    For example from my supplier

    rat Small (50 – 84g) 26 – 32 dys:
    Medium (85 – 174g) 33 – 42 dys

    I actually have this chart, and the ASF chart from this site, laminated and on my wall in my snake room. It's a great tool.

    that's a good reference. for anyone who would care to see a practical application of rodent feeder sizes, Justin Kobylka has a great YouTube video detailing his methods. I know it helped me when I was grappling with the 'appropriate sized rat' question.
