Bad News :(

I can't get a Ball Python now. Some things happened between my girl and her dad and is preventing us from getting the BP. I will be getting one around May of next year. I could get one now but the snakes health would be in jeopardy and I don't want that. I will stay connected on this site, learn more information, and help anyone out as best as I can.

Sorry about you luck bud :( but im glad to hear your being responsible and waiting till you can give it proper care :gj: instead of just buying one regaurdless of being selfish and getting one anyway.:rage::colbert:

Sorry you have to wait a bit longer, but it will be worth the wait in the end. :)

Sometimes better things come to those who wait. Youre doing the right thing by not risking the welfare of the animal or putting yourself in a place that you may have to find the would be animal another home

:gj: you are doing the right thing by waiting and not being a selfish immature person, do as much research as possible, im 13, and i did my research, but not enough when i got my bp, he was doing great, still, im learning more and more information as today, its only been nearly two months since hes been home tho, still a wee lil baby <3

hey a few months isnt bad i waited 27yrs b4 i got my right bp witch im glad i waited now i have a few and this is my first breeding season

Sorry to hear things didn't work out. May isn't that far off - plus the wait and anticipation is half the fun. Spend this time getting all the supplies you will need - that way you will be all ready when the time comes.

Just from reading your posts - I can tell that you will make an awesome owner for whatever snake is lucky enough to have you as its owner.

Thanks for being sooo mature and putting the needs of the animal over your own wants - that's commendable!!!! Kudos to you!!

Thanks all. I am very excited to get one and hope to get one when the snakes health wouldn't be in jeopardy. I always put an animals health before my wants and do the best I can for an animal that I have. I will probably get the supplies in Feb. of next year as that's when I get paid from the Government for Financial Aid. (I get paid what my College doesn't want. MY SAT scores were high enough and my mother makes "no" income so I get full money from government. state and federal) I get a free ride plus have extra money. :)

I will stay connected and learn as much information I can. I want to be the best BP handler I can with as best husbandry as I possibly can. I would never want the snakes health to be in jeopardy.
