Diesel??
I'm looking at buying a pair of Diesel ball pythons, but I can't seem to find much information about them.. I know they're not a new morph, but there is almost no info on the Internet, aside from a little write up on Toronto python guru's and alextreme's websites. So, first question, for those of you familiar with them, does this look like a diesel?

Secondly, had this gene been played with at all? I was thinking that diesel x spider, pinstripe, or pastel might be interesting, but I could be way off.

looks like a reduced pattern with spiderish sides to me. ive never heard of diesels but am very intrigued and will be paying attention to this thread.

Re: Diesel??
I've never herd of deisel. Looks reduced pattern to me! What's the going price for this animal?

A local breeder has a male 2011 diesel listed at $1200, but the pair we are looking at is going for considerably less. Here is a link to Alextreme's page on the Diesel. http://alextremereptiles.com/en/coll...eltigerbanded/

Re: Diesel??
I have never heard of diesel either and I wasn't able to find it listed on worldofballpythons.com

Yeah, I couldn't find it either. I'm really confused by this, as Mike from TPG has them listed in his collection, and in his available section. Perhaps I should email him directly and see if I can get the skinny from him *shrug*

I don't know a whole lot about diesels, I have heard of them before, but they aren't terribly popular. That one looks like it could be a diesel compared to the picture on the link you provided, but it also looks like a snake that someone is just calling a diesel because it looks similar. Is the breeder you are getting it from reputable?
