    Normal or not?
So I was at a reptile expo in Ohio and came across a vender with a bunch of baby ball pythons that were really cheap, and I ended up buying one. I thought I had a normal and still think I do, but my girl friends says she sees a bunch of red along the sides of this snake and I am color blind so I see nothing. I was just wondering what everyone thought of this little girl.

It looks like a normal to me. Just curious though, whats with the snake hook?

    Cheers.

Lol, well the guy had mites and I did not want to touch it and possibly spread it to other snakes. Good question I was going to put that but I figured someone would end up asking.

Normal, and if he's near other snakes u need to quarantine him. It's not a bad idea to treat the others for mites too.

Wow, A snake hook on a ball python:rage: Mites or not theres no need for the hook!

"Were really cheap" That should have been your first clue that its a normal bp.

First thing you should have done is qt him.

I am QTing him, it's a separate rack for my new snakes and when I get a new snake they all get treated. (new and old)

Maybe the OP didn't want to get mites all over their hands or clothing and possibly spread them to the rest of their collection? It only takes one little mite to infest.

Regardless of that, that's a nice normal :)

I'm seeing a nice normal as well. :)

Good luck on getting him/her mite free! It's a shame a vendor had a snake(s) with mites at a reptile show, with how many other snakes within close proximity.
