Jake with snakes

So I don't take out my reptiles nearly enough with my son. The other night we got home kind of late from my parents house, and he saw William my pastel poking his head to the front of the tub. So he of course asked if we could take some out and hang out with them. I couldn't refuse, and he asked for some pictures with them, lol, so here they are :) my 5 year old son Jake.

I'm hoping to do something similar for my area too. I figured once my son is a little older he'd be a great assistant :D

He even has interest in my Ts, they are all just too small for him to handle, but he loves to see me handle them :)

That's so cute! My boyfriend's daughter absolutely adores our reptiles. Seeing kids interact with them and having positive experiences (especially at home) gives me hope that there will be a day when someone's ball python escapes and it doesn't send the whole town into a media storm of panic
