    finally
So today i'm finally going to make me some melamine racks.I'm sick of my plastic home depot rack and my huge snake cage that i made awhile ago and didn't know any better when i made it so i'm taking that apart taking down the home depot "rack" and stepping up my game haha.I'm going to be buying two big sheets of melamine and if my calculations are right i'll be making a 5 tub 41 quart rack out of one sheet and use 2 x 8's or 4's for the sides and back than the other sheet make a 28 quart rack like RideRed12 did and it will be a 5 tub rack than with my big snake cage cut that up and make a hatchling rack.I wanted to make room for more snakes since right now i have 1 big female two 750 gram males and a baby male and what i'm using was taking up wayyy to much space so now this way i can have more snakes :)..I will take pics once i'm done hopefully everything turns out the way i'm planning lol.

    Re: finally
So i went to one home depot and they didn't have the melamine 4' x 9' pieces so i had to go to a different one got them and foil tape for i think $92.They didn't cut one of the sheets the way i wanted but it will still work and they didn't charge me for the cuts.So i got two racks out of two sheets that hold 5 tubs each now i just have to go back to the store to get some casters and 2" x 4" x 4' pieces than it will be building time :) I'll keep everyone updated hopefully i'll get them both done by today we will see lol.

    Re: finally
Well i got the 28 quart rack done and tomorrow the 41 quart rack will be complete it's half way done now but for some reason my drill started to die even though it was plugged in lol and i also need to buy a drill bit to make it easier. There both kinda custom because where im putting them the ceiling is slanted but there still both like how other people did theres i just had to cut mine down a little.I will have pictures up tomorrow of them.

the top left is my two 6 quart tubs only one is being used right now right under my ve-300.Than under those are the 41 quart tubs i have room for 5 tubs but just one is being used than on the right side is the 28 quart tubs and again it holds 5 tubs. All i used was two big sheets of melamine 48" x 96" and each sheet made one rack and had alot left over and i also used (4) 2" x 4" x 4' for the 41 quart sides so it would be lighter i was going to use casters but decided not to and i can move the racks myself so i might later but im fine for now.I have them all running off of my ve-300 but i only have 6 tubs on heat right now (3) 28 quart (1) 41 quart and both of the 6 quarts have flexwatt under them and i used the 4 inch flexwatt and there all 17" long.

If any one wants the measurements that i used i'll be glad to help you out.And thanks for looking
