    BP Cage Question
Hello all! I think this is the right place to ask this.

I have a 3 foot ball python I have been keeping in a 100gal tank. Well during cleaning the tank cracked and I'm going to get him a new Vision cage now. My question is this: is the Vision 221 cage big enough so that my snake can live the rest of it's life into adulthood in it? I believe my snake is a male. The dimensions are: 28" W x 24" D x 12" H and here is the link http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog/...1-vision-cage/

    Thank you!!!!:snake:

I can't give you input on that cage as I know nothing about it, but the 100g tank is absolutely huge for a male ball python. Would be fine in a 40 gal max.

I would go with a cage that has a floor measurement of 3 X 2.

This. You don't want them in anything too big, but at the same time you don't want them in anything too small. something that is 3l x 2w is ideal.

    Cheers.

Look at the 332 it ia a touch taller and is likely a touche easier to clean (reaching into the back) The boaphile cages also are quite nice. Both will sag a touch but I have mine on a shelf with a support in the middle.

I have the 332 that's 18" tall. I love it. Its relatively inexpensive compared to animal plastics and some of the other PVC cages, and it works great.
