    Pastel Price
Is $75 for a nice pastel a good price?

Not bad for a male, and really not bad for a female BUT...it depends on the quality of the pastel and its size.

For example: I've seen '11 males go for $50-$75 + ship, and little '11 girls from $100-$175 (somtimes shipping included, some + ship).

$75. is a great price, if it is actually a real nice Pastel.

I would be willing to pay much more then that, for an A+ Grade Pastel female.

My female '11 pastel I bought this year cost something close to three times that. I got first pick from 10 females produced that year, and I picked her based on her parents and her lemon blast siblings.

You get what you pay for in pastels. And I got what I paid for - she is also already 350+ grams ^.^

$75 would be a decent price for a male pastel, but remember, you get what you pay for with pastels. Deals can be found, though. Look for the brightest yellows you can find. Avoid oranges because they tend to brown out more.

We paid $75 for our pastel male from Special K Reptiles. He is a year old and has held his color VERY well. The second pic shows his true colors better. So if you are patient and shop around, you'll find what you're after.

Not what I would look for in a pastel at all. She is already browning out.
