My new addition :)

Well my family has grown once again. I took in another rescue from Mike and Lindsay of The Maritime Reptile Adventure Zoo/Rescue/Outreach 2day. So i`ll make this his official intro :D
Say Hi to Anubis the Golden Tegu :D He`s prolly only a few months old. The pics really don`t do him justice ... under the light his colors are amazing ... greens and golds. I snapped these few pics shortly after i got him all set up. He came with the enclosure but i`m sure i`ll build him a nicer one very soon . I`m not 100% on sex right now but have for now named him " Anubis ". Thanx very much Mike & Lindsay for bringing us 2gether :D :D :D So without further ado here he is .....

Thanx KiteDemon. I only handle him for a few minutes when Mike dropped him off and he was cold so pretty docile. I`m gonna give him a few days to settle in, prolly offer him something to eat 2morrow and try handling him 1st of the week.
He looks to be very healthy :D

Thanx Babyknees, I got lucky in picking him up ... but he`s a handfull for a little guy ... fast like lightning and squirmy like you wouldn`t believe lol you loosen ur grip for a second and he tries to flee. Gonna be fun watchin him grow and his colors are truely amazing :D

My Red Tegu doesn't like to be handled. She has a very nice temperment but handling isnt her thing. We let her out and I'll give her a scratch on the head and that is about it. After that she will try to cuddle with my Maine Coons. Congrats on the new Gu.
