    Would a 1.2 group fit?
I'm going to construct a 90qt tub (35" x 16 3/4" x 12 7/8") into my rat breeding tub for my 1.2 group. I may be adding another female to the group this Sunday.

My question is, is that tub big enough for my current 1.2 group? It's about a bit longer and wider than a 20 gallon long glass enclosure but is more roomy. I put them all in it to see if they had room, and it seems OK, but I'd rather ask about tub quarts and measurements for my 1.2 group (soon to be 1.3) before I construct on this tub.

If this tub is too small, how many quarts of a tub should I use for the group?

That tub is big enough for a 1.3 group for sure.

Hey Tiff, that size is definitely big enough to house that colony! You could even add one or two more females.
