Our baby girl(8 mos.old) is red and slightly bulging on the underside of her tail at her opening,does anybody have any idea what this might be?
im no expert on boas, but maybe a tumor? a cyst? idk, i would guess she is too young to be pregnant nd bout to lay eggs. idk
Photos would help greatly. Sometimes snakes will get kinda bulgy/swollen around the vent when they're about to deficate, but I'm not sure about the redness.
Get some pics of it up, could be no big deal, and it could be serious.... @ Jasonx boas dont lay eggs lol
Sounds like a shed and a poop coming on. Need pics to be sure.
