Hello there BP.net! Name's Melissa, and my snakes an I are just looking for a place to find like-minded snake-lovers, and to brag about my babies :)
That includes a 1.5 year old basset hound named Bowser, who gets jealous when I take care of the snakes *lol*
I've only been "into" snakes since January of 2011, and I have gone crazy. Hubby wanted a ball python. I was pretty indifferent. After we got her though? Well now I'm up to 11 snakes, 4 of them rescues :)
I've found my calling in life...snake rescue! Only took me almost 31 years..oh well that's not fair. Maybe just half that since you never know what you really want to be when you're a tiny kid.
SO...I already have lots of stories. I'm totally still learning, too. So any advice (as long as it's polite) is totally welcome!
