Petco "Normal"
Hey guys, I'm not very good about identifying subtle morphs so I was wondering if this would be a morph or not. I know its not helpful that I don't have pictures but it basically looked exactly like a normal but ZERO alien heads, which caught my attention because I have never seen that on a normal before. Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks,
Alex

Without pictures, it's literally impossible to tell. The patterns and shades vary so wildly on normals it's not even funny...

Re: Petco "Normal"
It's called "reduced pattern" when you see that. It's not a "morph" usually. There are genetic lines of reduced pattern, but more often than not, it's just a natural selection of normal genes that gives that appearance. Really nice reduced pattern females are often prized as breeders because their pattern sometimes influences the babies, even though it's not a predictable genetic result that you can call a "morph."
"Normal" ball pythons come in a huge range of both patterns and colors.

With just your description I would say a reduced pattern normal but yeah without pictures its just not possible to tell you anything.

Thank you everyone! I just thought it looked kinda cool and I was curious.

Here's my reduced normal for a reference if the Petco one looks similar (I got her from a Petco as well):
