Meet Dagger!

This is Dagger, my new crested gecko I got yesterday at Petco! I was told by some peeps on a gecko forum he's a white walled flame with dashed pinstriping!

He's named after the character in the manga: Black Butler
When I get him a female(I'm going to breed cresties) her name is going to be the name of Dagger's love interest- Beast.

Intense Crested Gecko names, huh? But at least it matches their stares. XD

The 'horns' or his crests, are super soft and floppy. :3 Makes cresties look big n tough, but they are really such sweeties

hes got great size! My little dude isnt longer than my finger yet! I cant imagine him getting that big :P

Yeah, yesterday we just wandered in there(me and my mom did) so I could check out the geckos(no real intention on getting one yesterday, I was thinking black friday) and since they were hiding, mom said it was okay for me to ask if I could hold them, so I did and I saw him and went like this: :O

He was the prettiest gecko I had seen at petco before! The other one was a dark olive green harely with a couple dal spots... Nice crest, but nothing compared to Dagger.
We left with the intention of coming back o9n Black Friday and getting him for half off, but later at home when we thought about it, we realised there was a really big chance that he'd be gone. So mom and dad said I could get him last night as an early christmas present! :3
And now here he is!

I've never had a gecko that was really that small. XD Dagger's about 8 months old.
But I will have teeny tiny geckos once I start breeding them.

Yeah, Dagger's my second, but the third total in the house(my sister got one 10 months ago, I got my first over four years ago), and in two month's I'll get another and have lots of tiny baby geckos. XD

That's one heck of a Petco find. I've lived in multiple different states and I've never seen quality cresties at a Petco, some people have all the luck.

Thanks! I actually see lots of good geckos there actually.. many are good coloured, most have good crests, I've seen a number of dalmations, and the best part- our petco knows how to take care of cresties. XD Of course, it's hard to screw up their care.
But the people who work at our local petco have lizards/breed lizards of their own and stuff, so they normally know what their doing.
They mess up with the bearded dragons sometimes, though. (They keep switching from sand to carpet and back again and back to carpet. XD Right now, the beardies are on carpet)


But yeah, I'm really proud of Dagger
