    Very Strange Sand Boa Footage.
Here is a link at the bottom to a video that I took of my KSB at about 1am. 99% of the time the room is dark at that time because we are asleep at 1am, or at the very most just the glow of the tv might be on. However, tonight I had my lamp on because I was awake. And I got some weird footage of Vicious.

For about 20 minutes straight she was kind of doing that weird star gazing stuff that BPs do when they're sick. As far as I know she is totally healthy, eats great, sheds great. I decided to film it and got a good shot of her yawning at about 44 seconds into it.

After about 10 more minutes of acting weird, she stopped with the wanna-be star gazing act, came back down, slowly, SO SLOWLY, centimeter by centimeter, she went about half way across the tank. So I turned out the light and a few minutes later used the little flashlight app on the my phone to peek in on her. She was still on the surface but had gone back to her little half log and I think was thinking about burrowing.

So is this what goes on every night when we are asleep? She just wolfed down 2 small fuzzies yesterday morning so I know she shouldn't be hungry. I was just dumbfounded by her weird behavior since it's so rare to see her at the surface on her own because she is always buried under her bedding.

Enjoy our bizzare footage. I hope nobody thinks anything is wrong with her, she seems fine now. I am hoping I just got a rare video is all. It was almost like she was doing some fancy stretching so she could yawn. :)

Ok good! I guess it's just I never see her when she's awake at 1:00 going around the tank. She let me pet her and stuff, didn't seem distressed and didn't seem to care. It was just bizarre she kept it up for so long!! lol But getting the yawn was kinda neat. I just wish the there wasn't such a bad glare on the glass.
