What about the green pastel?
Hey there ladies and gents of the herp world,
I've not seen or heard much about green pastel morphs. With regards to gargoyles I still get mixed feedback, for example, since a green pastel is co-dom it's super form is a gargoly. I was also was told that a black pastel and a green pastel will make a gargoyle. What about other combos like mojave+green pastel or spider, pastel(reg type). I've seen nothing when i google these, and nothing on great sights like world of ball pythons dot com. So my question is can anyone shed some light on these projects? Pic's of results or anything would be welcome like gifts on x-mas day..LOL,
Thanks,
Jim

Hi,
Just to point out a platinum is not a lesser. :)
A platinum is a lesser + the daddy gene.

I thought that was a platty daddy.
Lesser platinum is just a normal lesser.

platinum is also called a platty daddy. ( and you can have a "homozygous daddy" that looks normal ).
And yes lesser Platinum is often shortened to lesser. :)
But you can't shorten it to platinum because it lacks one of the genes. It's confusing I know. They also originally called cinammons "cinammon pastels" and other such things.
Re: What about the green pastel?
I was just useing the "lesser platinum" as an example of different names for the same type. Some people call "lesser platinum" lesser, platties, Platinum..ect. The same as the "Green Pastel" is A.K.A "Lace Black Back". But LET US NOT GET OF TASK. LOL. Who cares about lessers right now, everyone knows more than a hand full of combos with those. What about Lace Black Back combos?
