    Paradox Spider?
I hatched this spider earlier this year from a Spider X Albino clutch. Theres a black area on its sides normally where the white sides are.

I hatch 4 spiders in 2 clutches this is the only one with the black on its side.

Would you anyone say its a paradox spider or is it fairly common?

I'd say no. Paradox is a very dark black. The only "black" I see on the spider are the striping. Paradox is usually a little more random looking as well. Here's a picture of my paradox albino so you can compare.

Edit: Now that I look at the first picture, it looks like it may be possible, however I still think it's just an extension of the browns...I guess I'd wait for others more experienced with paradox to chime in...

looks just like a spider with high white. It's very pretty but I don't see any paradox markers.

Edit: I totally missed the brown discolouration! its hard to say.. hmm Considering the paradox title is nothing genetic, rather a "birth marker" if you will. I wouldn't feel comfortable calling it paradox personally. That's up to you though.. Are you going to see the money that the paradox title brings, probably not because of the subtlety of the mutation but it defiantly looks too awkward to be normal coloration. Just my opinion.

    I just see a spider...no paradox.

Hes a holdback for my albino spider project, so its not a question of asking a higher price for him if he was a paradox.

Just asking your thoughts on him will get some better photos later.

I am correct in thinking paradox is purely random and not genetic.

He's very nice looking, and I think you're correct in thinking paradox is completely random. From everything that I have heard it is not genetic...

Paradox is usually a mutation that exhibits itself as absence of the morph pattern, revealing normal underneath. Often seen as black or brown markings.
I don't really see paradox, but who knows. The most recent picture kind of looks that way, but the genetics can't be proven.
