The best thing is I bet they sometimes lose "footing" and come crashing down, making a loud thunk? Ball pythons are so clumsy.

Sometimes I swear they do it intentionally! That pied, I've seen her actually charge right off of the dining room table, because she's decided that's the fastest way to get down. And when you're a 4 foot snake, maybe it is?

And she's 1700 grams, so she can make a pretty good "thump" in the middle of the night.
