sorry like the third forum i posted in 3 days.
rather ask then make my ball stressed...


i just got my ball last wed, fed him on sunday... (i no wait a week or two before feeding) but i have a good feeling about him. so i decided to give it a shot. ate beautiful. seems to be adjusted already.

I have a perfect setup since i used to own few balls.. just a simple tub with undermat heater. hot side at perfect 92.. cold side 84.

do you think i can start holding him on a daily or bi daily basis.

I personally wouldn't but its totally up to you. What ever your comfortable with. You can try handling him for a few minutes every 2 days or so, and if he stops feeding for you, or you notice some signs of stress, than you should back off and let him adjust for a while.

Sunday I'm guessing you meant yesterday, so I would wait a few days. I honestly don't handle my bps other than cleaning and other maintenance, but I always wait atleast 2 days after they eat to handle them.

Every snake is different. Some people will say to leave him alone which I would say to do until at least Wednesday or Thursday because he just ate. As far as holding him after that I say go for it. You will be able to tell if he doesnt want to be held yet. But the fact that he ate so soon for you is a good sign.

P.S. The only question people will get mad about is the one you dont ask.;)

If people didnt ask questions then what would we do on here? And if people didnt ask questions then where will everyone be when I have one? Questions are the foundation of this site if you ask me. Because with questions come answers.
