So yesterday was a challenge in a half. I woke up with a horrible tension headache that didn't seem to want to quit. I had plans with my husband to help finish the rack, so I grit my teeth and did the grown up thing, just dealt with the throbbing pain. Eventually we got all the flexwatt in and everything hooked up and running properly, so we were ready for the snakes!
I'd already decided that with no signs of any kind of illness or parasite I'd go ahead and put Bonnie, Clyde, and Parker into the rack. Well of course when I went to get Bonnie ready she'd made a mess of her tub. That girl is in such a state lately with scenting things, her tub is hardly ever not a mess. So I pulled her out and put her around my neck so I could get her tub cleaned out before putting her into the rack.
She did her normal thing, moved around an inch or two here, inch or two there... but for the most part remained a steady fixture on my neck while I washed out her tub and water bowl. By the time everything was ready and she was removed from my neck to be welcomed into her new home, my headache was gone. My big ole normal ball had went and rubbed out my tension headache with her normal movements. So all that muscle and slithering did me some serious good! Anyone else used their snakes for a much needed massage? lol :P
