♥♥ How do you determine if its 66% het or 50% het or a 100% het??♥♥
Spider breeding with my caramel albino....so what would the hatchlings be? Het right? But what percent or how does that work??

Please help, this has been a question on my mind for a very long time. I love www.worldofballpythons.com because they have that Genetic Wizard, but would love to know how they come up with the % of het. how do you know when something is Hom instead of Het???

    Thanks. Im a noobie!

Caramel X normal = 100% chance of being a het
Het X normal = 50% chance of being a het
Het X Het = 66% chance of being a het

Spider X caramel albino = spider 100% hets and 100% hets

Visual bred with a normal= 100% het. two hets bred =66% het. het bred with a normal =50% het. this link http://www.vmsherp.com/LCGenetics101.htm should hopefully help a lot.

you've already got the het question anwsered. homo is homozygous which is the visual form of a recessive. usually ppl refer to a visual het as "visual" and not "homo". homo also is the super form of a dom or co-dom morph. a super pastel is the homozygous form of the pastel gene same as a visual recessive is homozygous.

this is how i understand it though so if im wrong then someone please correct me.
