Females glow 1-2 months before ovulation.

On a related note... Will males experience color changes during breeding season? Because some of my breeder males almost look as if they are glowing.

Males dont glow cause its breeding season, could just be a color change after a recent shed.

Females dont always glow, but some do and its not that noticeable where others are like a whole new snake.

Females don't always glow, but if you really pay attention to them, the neck glow seems to be a pretty normal thing.

All four of these girls laid for me

Whole body glow, she was the only one out of my four normal girls that you could look at and say, wow she's glowing! She also has an enormous neck glow-she's the last one in my neck glow pics.

Ok, I am familiar with the neck glow and noticed it on this same group of girls last year but they decided not to go for me probably since they were borderline ready ( 2 years old and 1200-1500 g). One female just shed today and has a major neck glow going on so I got my fingers crossed. thanks

Ah, I'm sure that it was because they were young. Three of those girls were on their 3rd winter and the other girl was on her 5th.

This is true. I figured last year they looked real healthy and were still eating strong so I would give them a shot but no takers. They knew they werent ready to be mammas yet:) Its looking alot better this year for them plus theyve got alot more weight and and extra year on them this time around.
