Do albino ball pythons have red noses?

My albino has a slight redish tone nose and his nostrils are a bit red. I've never noticed this because I never looked at the nose for a long period of time, but I looked at it one day for a long time because he kept rubbing his nose against the tub. He's been eating great well only rats and not mice. Monday I fed him a rat pinky and he took it, today I gave him a small adult mouse and he bit it but didnt eat it. He is 151 grams.

I had an albino male that had pretty reddish/pinkish nostrils. He was a few years old. Fed well and bred well. Should be no problem. Maybe post a pic if your nervous to be sure.

Im not that nervous about it but what you are describing is what I have. Its not something that I'm not nervous about because it could have been there since I got it and I just never really focused that much on it. Although he can be a picky eater at times like biting the food, but never swallowing it, he still eats for me and because of that I'm not that worried.

My new baby albino has the red nostrils, too. It scares me a bit every time I notice it. But I've been looking at it for over two weeks now, and I've decided it's not blood. Or, it might be blood, but the blood is still safely inside the snake. He's 79 grams.

Well my girl is feeding right now but I will look when she is don but I don't think so. There are lots of pics of her in my profile if you wanna look.

Sounds like a rub mark. I would up your feeding for sure. A rat pink is a very small meal for a 151 gram ball python. Rat pinks are only a couple grams a piece. Your ball should be on rat pups (roughly 20g) every 5 days. That is probably why your ball keeps rubbing and trying to get out. He is hungry!

no he is now 151g. Im switching now. He just got to 151g. I've been following justin kbolkya's feeding schedule. so now im switching to rat pups since he got to 151g.

Good because you want to feed 10-15% of their body weight every 5-7 days. At 151g that would be roughly 15-22g rat. Rat pinks are usually in the 5g range, give or take a gram or two, which would be far too small unless you feed 3-4 per feeding. Even hatchlings can usually be started on small fuzzies. :gj:
